Our Opening Hours are:Monday to Friday:- 10 am to 4 pm Closed weekends and Bank Holidays In April 1964 an appeal was made to raise £30,000 towards the cost of erecting an Old People's Centre in Newbury.
The result of this was Fair Close Day Centre. The Centre was to provide meals, social and recreational activities, etc.
to Older people within the District. It was opened by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother in November 1967.
Our aim is to provide a friendly environment in which our members feel safe and are encouraged to maintain their independence and wellbeing. Transport Our Sitting Room

for our members, if they are unable to make their own way. as well Christmas entertainment Dinning Hall Meals on Wheels
Our hall is used for both entertainment and dinning. We deliver Meals within the Newbury and
A freshly cooked lunch prepared in our own kitchen is available daily. Thatcham Towns.

Come along to the Centre and enjoy a chat and cup of tea in our sitting room. Join in an activity such as Bingo, Whist, Knit & Natter.
Hairdressing, Chiropody and Nail beautification services are also available.
